Vietnam government assigns SBV governor to new party role, without announcing his successor
The governor of Vietnam’s central bank, Le Minh Hung, has been appointed chief of the central committee office of the country’s ruling Communist Party, local media reported.
The politburo, the highest body of the Communist Party of Vietnam, announced the decision at an online ceremony in Hanoi on October 20.
The government has not yet named a successor to take Hung’s role at the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV).
