People: IMF names new Europe chief and secretary

Washington, DC: International Monetary Fund managing director Kristalina Georgieva has announced two appointments to senior roles.

Alfred Kammer will replace Poul Thomsen as director of the IMF’s European department in August, and Ceda Ogada will become its secretary from the following month.
