The Bank of England unveiled two new additions to its senior management team today (July 27), including a replacement for Charlotte Hogg, who resigned in March.

Joanna Place has been made chief operating officer, a position ranking on a par with deputy governors. She previously held the role in an acting capacity after Hogg stepped down.
