People: Riksbank’s Nessén takes on new advisory role; Albizu retains CMCA chair
Sweden: The executive board of Sveriges Riksbank has appointed Anders Vredin as acting head of monetary policy after incumbent Marianne Nessén moves to take on a new position as senior adviser to the board.
Nessén joined the Swedish central bank in 1997, serving as a researcher. She was then promoted to senior adviser of the monetary policy department, gradually rising through the management echelons to deputy of the department in 2007.
In 2012, Nessén was appointed head of the department. She
