International Monetary Fund chief Kristalina Georgieva says the recent controversy around her actions at the World Bank underscores the importance of listening to staff concerns.

Addressing the press today (October 13) for the first time since the news broke, the IMF managing director again denied wrongdoing and stressed that the IMF executive board had affirmed its confidence in her position.
