Chile’s central bank publishes historical meeting minutes

Historical minutes have been digitised in a move to improve transparency and accountability

The Central Bank of Chile has published the first tranche of records relating to historical monetary policy meetings, in a move to make its communications more transparent.

In September 2019, the board of the central bank agreed to publish minutes from meetings of its board of directors, the former executive committee and the bank’s council. All minutes will be published with a time delay.
