Centeno says lack of investment is handicapping growth

Policy-makers in the eurozone should encourage risk-taking to stimulate investment, the Bank of Portugal’s governor said today (October 22).

Speaking at the Macro Week event hosted by the Peterson Institute for International Economics (PIIE), Mário Centeno said inflation in the single currency area had converged towards the European Central Bank’s 2% target.
