Ukrainian central bank council reprimands deputy governors

Vote puts pressure on Rozhkova and Sologub to quit central bank in latest move against reformers

Ukraine’s central bank council has formally reprimanded two of its deputy governors, including Kateryna Rozhkova, a leading figure in the country’s banking reforms.  

Ukraine’s state-owned news agency Interfax announced that the National Bank of Ukraine council had voted to reprimand Rozhkova and deputy governor Dmytro Sologub. The report said the council had formally reprimanded them for what it alleged were breaches of the NBU’s code of ethics, its regulations for employees and Ukrainian
