The governor of the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago (CBTT) has prevented the publication of a local newspaper article that the bank said could "undermine national confidence" in its ability to protect sensitive information.

Governor Jwala Rambarran obtained an injunction from Trinidad and Tobago's high court against Newsday, a local newspaper, on Friday after its crime editor inquired about an incident earlier this year that saw the CBTT's computers hacked and its employees verbally attacked
