RBI takes complaints system digital

System will support supervision by giving people an easier means of submitting complaints

The Reserve Bank of India has launched a new digital platform so members of the public can submit complaints about financial firms.

Governor Shaktikanta Das said in a statement the system should help discipline banks and other firms and give consumers a more transparent means of tracking the status of any complaints they submit.
