Central Bank of Ireland deputy governor Ed Sibley gave a stern assessment of the banking sector in remarks today (October 20), saying many firms are still failing to adequately serve their customers.

Sibley warned that over the past decade, the banking industry in Ireland and internationally has “consistently failed its customers”, a situation that is “not sustainable”.
