Brazil stands out for ‘pioneering work’ in trade reporting – FSB
Peer review finds the South American nation is a leader in the field
Brazil is a leader when it comes to trade reporting, with the “breadth and depth” of data allowing the central bank to perform more effective systemic risk monitoring, according to a report published by the Financial Stability Board (FSB).
The peer review, prepared by a team headed by the Banque de France’s Anne le Lorier and published today (April 19), was unusual for its high praise, even if it did still find room for improvement.
