Second half of global FX code to be circulated in October – Debelle

“Significant progress” has been made drafting the second phase, says RBA assistant governor

The second half of the global foreign exchange code of conduct will be circulated for comment in October this year, an assistant governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia has said.

Speaking at FX Week Asia today (August 31), Guy Debelle said "substantial progress" had been made in drafting the second phase, which will cover e-trading and platforms, prime brokerage, as well as governance, and risk management and compliance.

"As was the case with the first phase, there will be three opportunities
