Eastern Caribbean ACH enters second phase of implementation

The second phase in the implementation of the Eastern Caribbean Automated Clearing House (ECACH) is under way, the region's central bank said in its latest annual report, published on June 28.

The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) is seeking to "modernise" the payment system to create a "single financial space", collaborating with commercial banks and the ECACH Services Incorporated company.

"The first phase of the implementation of the ECACH was completed successfully in the ECCB member
