Cambodian central bank says $8 million grant will boost retail payments
National Bank of Cambodia announces grant from South Korea to develop payments infrastructure
The National Bank of Cambodia has received an $8 million grant from the South Korean government to develop the infrastructure underpinning retail payments, it announced on June 3.
The grant, awarded through the Korea International Cooperation Agency, was approved under the framework set out in an earlier memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Bank of Korea, it said.
It will be used in part, the central bank said, to support the rules, regulations and human resources underpinning the retail
