BoE chief cashier looks forward to further innovations in the use of cash
The Bank of England's chief cashier Chris Salmon today said the Bank is "sanguine about the impact of technology upon the use of cash" in the UK, but needs to "understand how innovation is affecting" how cash is used in order to "anticipate and offset any unintended adverse consequences".
