10 won coins to become less visible
SOUTH KOREA - The Bank of Korea (BOK) said on Tuesday that fewer 10 won coins will be available in the Korean market this year.
The central bank has signed a contract with the Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation (KMSPC) to trim the minting of 10 won coins by 71 percent from last year to 1 million coins this year.
The total volume of coins for this year will be reduced to 690 million, down 33 percent from last year's 1.3 billion. In 1999, the KMSPC minted more 10 won coins to meet
