Central bank widens efforts to educate Canadian students on finance

The Bank of Canada governor Stephen Poloz announced another project to encourage economic education on October 4.

The new edition of Money and monetary policy in Canada has been designed to provide schoolteachers with downloadable resources and lesson plans. The aim is to educate students on topics such as how the financial system works, the central bank’s role and how interest rates are set.
