
Reserve Bank of India launches economic data app
RBI says users will be able to access bank’s data portal and locate banking facilities in their local area

The Reserve Bank of India has launched an app that enable users to access macroeconomic data on their smartphones.
The central bank said on February 18 that RBIdata would offer more than 11,000 series of data relating to India’s economy. Researchers, students and members of the public would be able to view time series data in graphs and charts, and download data for analysis.
Users would also be able to access information regarding members of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation
Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
