Eurozone inflation expectations remain stagnant

Consumers’ 12-month expectations remain unchanged at 3.4%

The inflation expectations of eurozone consumers remain stagnant, according to the monthly survey published by the European Central Bank today (September 5).

Median expectations over the next year remained at 3.4%, unchanged from June 2023. However, the three-year-ahead index rose slightly to 2.4%, from 2.3%.
