Minneapolis Fed economist urges statistical agencies to include diagnosis questions in surveys
Data gaps could prevent policy-makers supporting families affected by Covid-19 from returning to the US economy, a Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis official argues.
Abigail Wozniak, director of the Opportunity and Inclusive Growth Institute at the Minneapolis Fed, says US statistical agencies are not collecting information on who has had the virus, or how they have been affected.
