Norges Bank launches research blog
New platform aims to encourage discussions on central bank’s research
Norway’s central bank launched a new blog on April 18, aiming to foster public discussion of its researchers’ work.
“After my many years as a researcher, I know how much energy and knowledge can be gained from a good discussion with competent peers,” said Norges Bank governor Øystein Olsen. “Today, such discussions can take place in new channels. The Bankplassen blog is an endeavour by Norges Bank to create such a channel.”
Norges Bank’s initiative is similar to Bank Underground, the blog
