Mersch stresses importance of democratic legitimacy in Europe
Executive board member at ECB wants to see decision-making process in Europe enhanced
European citizens must be able to hold decision-making accountable at the level at which it is taken, the European Central Bank's Yves Mersch argued on June 29.
