Iwata says Japan’s exports headed for a ‘moderate increase’

Deputy governor attributes ‘weakness’ to cyclical factors

Kikuo Iwata, the deputy governor of the Bank of Japan (BoJ), believes exports are "a potential concern" for the economic outlook, but remains confident the "cyclical factors" contributing to their weakness will "gradually disappear".
