Markets will drive policymakers into action: Denmark’s Bernstein

Nils Bernstein, the governor of the National Bank of Denmark, on Monday said that market forces would ultimately force politicians to find a solution to the sovereign debt crisis plaguing Europe, even if they cannot agree on one.

At the Annual Meeting of the Danish Bankers Association in Copenhagen, Denmark, Bernstein said: "What really gives cause for concern is that the solutions negotiated by the heads of government have, so far, not been able to halt an increasingly serious development
