RBI’s Chakrabarty sets out ten commandments for IT

Kamalesh Chakrabarty, a deputy governor at the Reserve Bank of India, on Monday offered India's largest banks advice on how to deal with the growing dependence on IT for banking and how to improve the security of India's IT banking infrastructure.

Speaking in Mumbai, Chakrabarty noted that while the horizon of IT keeps widening, the security gaps also keep rising, leaving the banks and customers lagging behind.
