Korea should improve management in light of recession

As a public institution, the Bank of Korea should endeavour to improve internal management, said Seongtae Lee, the governor.

Lee said that given the efficiency of the public sector was now subject to stricter external evaluation and that many people were suffering hardship due to the difficult economic situation, the central bank had to redouble its efforts to get rid of any organisational shortcomings and save costs.
