Speech by Masaru Hayami, Bank of Japan, 1 July

SPEECH - In his opening speech to the Tenth International Conference held by the Institute for Monetary and Economic Studies, Hayami said he was convinced that with experts from all over the world exchanging their experiences and views, the conference will contribute to meeting the challenge of mapping out ways to achieve a better exchange rate regime. And he believes the conference will also provide clues to how to map out charts through troubled waters.
