Chile's deficit under the lens

A new paper by the Central Bank of Chile describes and assesses the main causes of the institution's deficit.

The research shows that, based on a deterministic forecast, the central bank's net worth will increase slowly and reach positive values after 25 years. However, they also find that, based on stochastic simulations, the central bank's net worth will still be negative in 25 years.
