Bank of Finland shuffles board responsibilities

Central bank stresses importance of filling key posts on fixed-term basis

The responsibilities of the Bank of Finland board members were reshuffled in December, with the new structure laid out in the central bank's annual report for 2014, released on April 27.

Introducing the changes, the central bank noted the importance of filling key posts on a "fixed-term basis" and ensuring the "accumulation of broad-based competence and the updating of staff practices and procedures".
