Czech banks ‘resilient’ to adverse shocks
Stress tests focus on bank capitalisation over three-year horizon
The Czech banking sector is "sufficiently resilient to potential adverse shocks" as of the end of the third quarter of 2014, according to the central bank's latest stress tests.
The Czech National Bank regularly conducts stress tests, with the latest round taking place in November, using data from September 30. The tests focus on a three-year horizon.
According to the latest results, published this week, the capitalisation of the sector as a whole would remain above the regulatory minimum of 8%
