Norges Bank to publish minutes for first time

Central bank plans to release details of all aspects of executive board meetings except for monetary policy deliberations

Norges Bank is to reveal details of its executive board meetings, publishing minutes for the first time today (September 6), but withholding information on its monetary policy deliberations.

The minutes – currently available only in Norwegian, but in the process of being translated to English – cover the board's work relating to the central bank's administration and management of the Government Pension Fund Global, Norway's sovereign wealth fund.
