German economist wins central bank prize
Klaus Adam wins award jointly sponsored by SNB, Bundesbank and National Bank of Austria
The German economist Klaus Adam has won this year's Carl Menger Prize for work on asset prices, monetary policy and fiscal policy, collecting his award at a ceremony on September 5.
The €20,000 ($22,500) prize, awarded every two years by the German Economic Association, is jointly sponsored by the Deutsche Bundesbank, National Bank of Austria and Swiss National Bank (SNB).
