Swift brings in external firms to support security work

UK firm BAE Systems and Dutch company Fox-IT will be part of effort to strengthen cyber security

Swift has "engaged" two outside firms to support its work on cyber security, it announced on July 11, and created an in-house "customer security intelligence team".

The announcement follows the launch of a five-part cyber security plan in May, aimed at boosting the firm's defences and helping its customers to improve their own.

One of the initiatives is centred on information sharing, and it appears both UK firm BAE Systems and Dutch company Fox-IT will support the work in this area.
