The release of the Federal Reserve's latest minutes was complicated by a "technical error" on July 6, with some publishing information early and others late.

Equipment used to cut off electronic access to the Fed's lock-in room for journalists failed, meaning one unnamed publication released its story early, while others suffered a delay in their ability to transmit after the embargo supposedly lifted.
