Poland nominates Belka as EBRD president
Polish government also appoints Belka’s nominee to central bank board
National Bank of Poland governor Marek Belka was nominated as president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) by the Polish government on March 3, a finance ministry spokesman confirmed to Central Banking.
The government also appointed a new member for the central bank's management board – a possible successor to Belka when his term as governor ends in June.
