EU survey calls for more cohesion on cloud computing
National supervisory authorities underestimate extent of banks’ use of technology – EU agency
Some national financial supervisory authorities in the European Union fear banks' use of "global cloud providers" could trigger "systemic failure", a report published on December 7 has said.
Nonetheless, the authorities have not adopted a consistent approach to banks' use of cloud computing services, the report from the European Union agency for network and information security (Enisa) said.
The authorities also underestimate the extent to which banks are using these services, the Enisa report
