Organisational change raises profile of supervisory and economics departments

The board of directors of the Central Bank of Cyprus has approved a major reorganisation for the bank, it announced on November 26, after an internal review that followed the country's banking crisis.

The new structure, effective from February 2016, will feature four divisions: supervision; economics, statistics and financial stability; banking operations; and corporate services.
