The National Bank of Belgium has improved its online presence, embracing the responsive design techniques underpinning many other successful central bank websites.

As part of the redesign the central bank launched a new website on April 26, while it has been migrating to a new statistical database – NBB.Stat – since February.

"The website has been given a complete makeover and is now fully accessible from smartphones and tablets," the central bank said in a statement.
