Lagarde raises doubts over Greek reform package
IMF managing director concerned by vague promises in some areas
The ‘troika' institutions overseeing Greece's bailout today gave the go-ahead to the next phase of the package, but IMF managing director Christine Lagarde said some issues must still be resolved.
Greece submitted an outline of its planned reform measures late last night, and the troika of European Central Bank (ECB), European Commission and IMF spent today assessing whether they went far enough.
In letters to Eurogroup president Jeroen Dijsselbloem, the troika heads each wrote the list of
