BoE picks Deloitte to review RTGS failure
High-value payment system was out of action for several hours last month
The Bank of England (BoE) today appointed consultancy firm Deloitte to conduct an investigation into an outage in its real-time gross settlement system (RTGS) last month.
"The review will investigate the causes of the incident, the effectiveness of the Bank's response and provide lessons learned from the incident," the central bank said in a statement.
