RBI hiring 53 sportspeople out of civic duty

Successful applicants will represent central bank in their sport of choice

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is looking to recruit 53 "meritorious sportspersons" in various support roles at the institution – a common practice among public bodies in the country, but less so in the central banking community.

The posts are divided by region and by sport. They offer young people aged between 18 and 26 the opportunity to earn the money necessary to compete at the highest levels of their sport.

The RBI is looking to hire 47 sportsmen. This includes 24 footballers, 12
