National Bank of Ukraine governor picks a new right-hand man

The National Bank of Ukraine's (NBU) oversight council has held a special session under its new chairman Stanislav Bukovynskyi, to give the go-ahead to a recent re-shuffle of senior appointments but also to set up a new audit committee to supervise the central bank's execution of its responsibilities.

The council approved a re-shuffle of the bank's deputy governors to make new recruit Volodymyr Krotiuk governor Stepan Kubiv's right-hand man, dislodging Borys Prykhodko as first deputy governor
