David Lees remains Court of the BoE chair

Her Majesty The Queen today approved the UK chancellor and prime minister's recommendation for the reappointment of David Lees as chair of the Court of the Bank of England.

Lees was appointed as chair of the central bank's governing body on June 1, 2009 for three years, meaning his term was set to expire at the end of May this year.
