Austria's Nowotny under scrutiny in banknote bribery case
The Vienna Public Prosecutor on Monday included top National Bank of Austria officials, including governor Ewald Nowotny, in the inquiry into whether bribes were paid to foreign officials by employees of the Austrian banknote printers, Oesterreichische Banknoten-und Sicherheitsdruck (OeBS).
