Tanzania deputy governor leaves

Enos Bukuku, formerly the deputy governor responsible for economic and financial policies at the Bank of Tanzania, has left the bank. He has joined the East African Community, an intergovernmental organisation comprising the five east African countries Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda as the deputy secretary-general for planning and infrastructure.

On Friday, the newswire Bloomberg reported that Natu el-Maamry Mwamba has been appointed to replace Bukuku. Mwamba was a senior research
