New deputy governor for the South African Reserve Bank

Lesetja Kganyago, the director-general of the South African National Treasury, has been appointed as the deputy governor of the South African Reserve Bank.

President Jacob Zuma announced on Friday that Kganyago will join the Bank on May 16.
