Buba’s Weber to return to academia
Axel Weber, the outgoing president of the Bundesbank, is set to return to academia and will teach at the University of Chicago when his term at the central bank ends in April.
The Bundesbank on Wednesday confirmed Weber's intentions to work at the university from June, where he will teach monetary policy and take charge of some MBA and doctorate programmes. The University of Chicago has also confirmed Weber's appointment.
