Philippines’ Tetangco to get second term: reports

Amando Tetangco, the governor of the Central Bank of the Philippines, has been offered a second term in the role, according to media reports.

Bloomberg reported Friday that President Beningno Aquino III, who is tasked with appointing the governor of the central bank, said he would reappoint Tetango. "I have confidence in him," the newswire reported the President as saying. "I like what he has already accomplished [and] my economic team recommended this course of action."

President Aquino has not
