Fiji's Reddy resigns

Sada Reddy, the governor of the Reserve Bank of Fiji, has resigned from his post.

Reddy, who has worked at the central bank for the past 35 years, tendered his resignation with immediate effect on 9 December. Barry Whiteside, the deputy governor of the central bank, has taken over at the helm until further notice.
